Amy Goldman Koss said, "Heart is what drives us and determines our fate." This means that what your heart tells you, determines what your fate will be. I agree but not only does your heart determine your fate but your brain also determines the decision you make. This can be clearly seen in Cheat. Your heart does some what determine what your fate will be but also your brain, and then the thoughts that go through your mind, and you always have to think and make sure in what your decision will be.

Overview: The book so far is interesting because it stars out with talking about a young girl who is named Sarah and she is going through a hard time where she question herself whether what a guy had done to her was sweet or if it was just another guy trying to manipulate a girl as always.
Theme: I think the life lesson for the book "Cheat" would be that you shouldn't always fall for the words that are being said to you when they are extremely nice or sweet because believing everything could lead you to making a bad choice or something else happening.
Why: I chose the book because it looked interesting by the pictures of the people on the title page of the picture seemed interesting since their face expression showed something that could signify something that happened to them.
Prediction: I think something will happen to the young teenagers and they will learn from their lesson.

It was a beautiful sunny day. the sun would give you a smile and it also gave you joy just by looking at such good weather. It was in the month of March where the hot summer weather was just right on time to start in Atlanta, Ga. Jennifer, Amanda, and Tyler where all having quality time with each other hanging out at Jennifer's house. They all wanted to do something exciting but not one of them could think of what to do until Tyler came up with the idea of going to the park and taking a walk to enjoy such a great weather day instead of sitting home like a bunch of furniture. Amanda and Jennifer both agreed and they thought it was a great idea. As they were on their way to the park, they saw a dog from a far distance. It was so far they didn't pay much attention to it but once they got closer they saw it was a puppy and they were hoping the poor cute puppy would have an owner since it seemed alone. But unfortunately the poor, cute puppy was alone and it didn't have a home. The baby puppy seemed frightened. Amanda and Jennifer felt bad.  The puppy was so adorable, the stare of the puppy had to make them want to take it home to take care of it. Lastly, in the end they all decided to take the puppy back home to feed it. The puppy had no collar, nor did it have no sign of it having an owner. They noticed the puppy was very happy after it had finished eating and it seemed very happy where it was. Also It seemed the baby puppy liked Jennifer a lot. He would follow her everywhere she would go. Jennifer finally decided to keep the puppy. The puppy knew right away by its excited look. As the time passed he grew and grew uncontrollably and they both loved being with each other . The puppy especially loved Jennifer's friends Amanda and Tyler.

Defining Hero

 "A hero is an ordinary individual who finds the strength to persevere and endure in spite of overwhelming obstacles."

The quote of Christopher Reeve is a quote which explains his definition of a hero. He explains that a hero is someone who who is brave and has strength to go through whatever goes through their path even when it can be something negative. They will keep moving forward.
 I strongly believe with what Christopher Reeve says because being a hero and moving on with your negative obstacles that go through your journey is one way of being a hero because not only are you doing something good for someone else but you are also helping your own self .
Through each individuals life, every single person has something difficult that may be hard for them to accept but also something that is hard to move on from. In the past i had to go through some hard things that I had t accept that were going on. Yes it was hard to understand, but i thought to myself that i could not let it get me to me. I thought that the best thing to do was to accept it and to move on with life because i still have much more to look forward to.
